I am a 41 year old woman, a pilot's wife, a bonus mother to 2 kids, 3 dogs, and a bearded dragon. It is quite a life and definately full of adventure...
These are my thoughts and musings, I hope you enjoy!
Anna Barnett
I think that I am the only one who may think that Frosty the Snowman needs to be committed. I mean honestly, just listen to the tale of Frosty. It is all laid out plain as day. If this were presented in front of a judge, he would surely be put away, for his own protection, of course...
Let start with his hat... He believes this hat to be magic and does not move, or as the song says "come to life" till it is placed upon his head.
Now, let's skip down to where he heads into the village, and only pauses a moment when he is told by the traffic cop to STOP. An blatant defiance of authority.
But, what tops it off, and proves that Frosty is a danger to himself is his obvious disregard for the hot sun. Knowing full well what that hot sun will do to him, he heads out to play anyway.
So he is either, a complete danger to himself due to ignorance, or a SUICIDAL SNOWMAN. Either way, I think Frosty needs some serious counseling!!!
You are absolutely right. How did I not see it before. Poor lil' guy. Thanks for stopping by and following. I am following you now. Make sure to link up on Thursday to my new blog hop Thrifty Thursdays. You may be selected to be featured the following week, and receive an ad spot for a week! Blessings...
That is funny. I think a lot of nursery rhymes are like that too. For example: "Rock a-bye baby on the tree top, when the wind blows the craddle will rock, when the bow breaks the craddle will fall and down will fall baby craddle and all" and we sing this so lovingly to our babies...why??? LOL!!!
Anyway, I am following you from makin friends monday! Stop by when you can!
Thanks for the follow, back at ya! ... Isn't there something in Frosty that is so endearing because there's a part of us that his ignorance, defiance, or however you want to call it describes? If my mind is set on something, sometimes there's no authority that will sway me otherwise until I figure it out myself. And, if I'm told I can't do something, sometimes there's that part of me that really wants to make extra sure I do it anyway, somehow. Call it a sure melt or call it needing to be committed -- there's a bit of ol' Frosty in all of us! ~Jamie

Hi Anna, I think you might be right about Frosty! I work in law enforcement and we put people like him on a psych hold! That cop apparently didn't get the sensitivity training! Thanks for stopping by Whimsical Way. I look forward to following you!
Oh My!! It all makes sense now!!! Thank you so much for clearing it up - I'm now seriously wondering about that whole Jack and Jill thing. I bet she actually hit Jack and broke his crown, and staged the whole tumbling after!!
You found me via Monday's blog hop. I'm just getting around to hopping myself. However, after reading this first post, I'm sold! Count me in as a follower! Look forward to more!
Oh it's true! It's true! Someone needs to help Frosty. He's obviously depressed- other people have to dress him, and when was the last time you heard about him brushing his teeth?
This is what happens when we are forced to watch the same shows with our kids over and over!! Too funny. Following you back from a weeknd hop...sorry it took me so long! Thanks for visiting my blog!
That is too funny! What is it about kids' songs and fairy tales that they can be so disturbing? Like, "Rock-a-bye baby on a tree top...if the wind blows the cradle will fall and down will come baby cradle and all." How is that comforting?!
Thanks for this humor and thanks for visiting Magical Mouse Schoolhouse! I am following you too!
Thanks for stopping buy and you are right, I did enjoy this! I hate to admit it, but Frosty was my once my daughter's favorite movie to watch. She wore out one VHS tape completely. I heard it so much, I started to have nightmares about Frosty!

Thanks for stopping by! I think he is just a child at heart.
Thanks for following, I followed back. This is hilarious, by the way.
Thanks for coming by again :)
This is so funny!
Maybe that is why Frosty never appealed to me. I always loved Rudolph's movie more- he was a man on a mission, and did't give up- not like Frosty!
I vote suicidal.
