New Feature On The Pilot's Wife for 2011 - Guest Writers Needed (Are you a Pilot's Wife?)

My goal for The Pilot’s Wife in 2011 is to have a feature post monthly where a guest writer, a Pilot’s Wife does the post. I want that these posts to be SPECIFICALLY about "Life as the Co-Pilot!" the trials, struggles, and joys as the wife/partner of a pilot! I started on my journey in the Co-Pilot seat 2 years ago and I can tell you and has been quite an experience so far.

I have always been on the search for articles and posts from other women in the same position that I am in. I think it helps to create a feeling of not being alone in day to day struggles and joys. In my search I have come across a lot of wonderful sights and groups and I want to share them with you. You can find them on my resource page – HERE.

Each featured writer would be free to write whatever they want about life as the wife/partner of a pilot, I would then post it on pilotwife.blogspot.com of course giving all credits to the writer, and posting a link back to their sight.

Including pictures would make it even that much more fantastic.  I think this would be great for others to be able to read who may be searching as I was. As of this afternoon, my sight has over 350 followers and that number is growing everyday. I also reach out on Twitter to direct traffic to my blog and have close to 400 followers which is also growing and between my Facebook Fan Page and my personal page I reach over 400 people there as well.

My goal with this is to hopefully reach out to other pilot wives/partners as well as give a little bit of insight to others who are not in the industry of what it is like being on our shoes...
